Chinese cuisine under the direction of the talented chef is wonderful at this place. Take a break and order tasty seafood and good chicken. As many guests notice, the service is fine. Democratic prices are to be expected at China Town. The exotic ambiance makes a good impression on people.
We entered through one of the many doors to this place only to find that the 3 restaurants mentioned separately on zomato- China town, bistro bar and Indian street are housed under one roof of Amarpreet hotel.
As soon as I entered this restaurant, all I could sense was a silent zone with no proper air circulation. The whole set up though seems good with artistic paintings and an overall hue of blue and brown, it definitely lacks behind in giving you a cozy feel.
We took to our seats and began deciding on what to have for lunch. The prices seemed a bit on the higher side even for their counterparts available in Bombay. Nonetheless we ordered only 2 dishes in the Chinese cuisine.
Chicken chowmein:
This was by far the best of the 2 dishes that arrived on our table. With generous amount of fried chicken this chowmein was definitely loaded. The gravy was slurry, delicious with that perfect zing and had a variety of veggies consisting of carrots, cabbage and capsicum. Noodles were smooth and some had a fried- crunchy texture to it. In short, the whole dish was amazingly good.
Veg hakka noodles in schezwan style:
I was very disappointed with this main course item. Appearance wise it was good but flavour wise it was as bland as it could get. This dish was not worth its price in terms of quantity, flavour and veggies added. I couldn't get the so called schezwan taste in any bite and I would not recommend this dish.
To sum up, service provided was decently good but the dishes ordered were overpriced in terms of quantity.
