Chikkanna Tiffin Room (CTR) is a small yet charming eatery with a neat, clean, and well-maintained ambience, making it a comfortable spot for a quick meal. Started off with the Idly-Vada combo, which was impressive — the idly was soft and spongy, and the chutney was perfectly balanced, complementing the dish well. The lemon rice was equally delightful, with all the ingredients blended to perfection. The rice bath also tasted great, pairing wonderfully with the chutney. However, the mini masala dosa felt a bit overwhelming due to the excess ghee, making it difficult to finish. The same experience repeated with the mini bath masala dosa — again, a bit too heavy on the ghee for my liking. I also wanted to try the puliogare, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available at that time. Apart from the dosa, everything else was thoroughly enjoyable. The quality of food, cleanliness, and service make CTR a great spot for tiffin lovers. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area!
