Incredibly nice and authentic restaurant. The food ist exzellent and very affordable. They have indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Nice touch: You can look into the kitchen to see how the food is prepared. The staff is very friendly and supportive. They recommeded food that should not be spicy and it wasn't. They even checked whether it contained gluten. Their English was sufficient and where it was not, Google translate bridged The gap. I love this restaurant! Disappointing Experience at Anushthan - Food and Service Need Improvement I recently visited Anushthan with my family, and unfortunately, the experience was below par. The food was the main letdown. The paneer was average, and the Aloo Pyaz was just okay though both gravies were same .But what really stood out (or rather, didn't) was the tandoori platter - it was overly salty & cold. The Daal & Gatta was a letdown too - it was bland and no flavor. Though in Rajasthan you expect daal & gatta to be nice at least. But the real kicker was the service. It was painfully slow. We waited for a good 20 minutes just to get our order taken, and then another 40 minutes for the food & Rotis to arrive, 2nd service of Rotis took another 15-20 mts. Unacceptable. Overall, Anushthan needs to work on its food quality and service. Maybe revisit the recipes, to work on quality and taste .Until then, I'd suggest giving it a miss.
