We visited Changs Legacy restaurant yesterday with our family, and overall, the experience was quite disappointing despite the food being good. To start with the positives, the food we received was tasty and the overall ambience of the restaurant was decent for a family outing. However, a major issue completely ruined our experience. One of the chicken dishes we ordered was not properly cooked. When we raised a complaint, the staff took the dish back, but never returned it. On following up, we were told that the chicken was “finished.” This was quite surprising. We then requested for an alternative dish, but were informed that neither chicken nor paneer was available. This was shocking, as these are very basic items for a restaurant. What made matters worse was the behavior of the waiter. He was rude and unhelpful, and simply said, “I’ll get the bill,” instead of offering any solution. We tried to discuss and resolve the issue, but it was of no use. In the end, we had to leave the restaurant without completing our meal. Overall, while the food quality is good, the service and customer handling need serious improvement. Experiences like this make it hard to consider visiting again. Rating: 2/5. Chang's Legacy Outlet offers a diverse array of Chinese cuisine options. Having visited this place 4-5 times, I can attest that the food is generally good. The ambiance is peaceful, and there is convenient parking available outside the outlet. However, a key point to highlight is the inconsistency in the taste of the dishes. During my first visit, the American Chopsy was perfectly made with all the flavors on point. Unfortunately, on subsequent visits, it was either too sweet or flavorless. Similarly, my initial experience with the Nasi Goreng was delightful and unique, but on a later visit, it was so spicy that I couldn't eat it. Consistency in taste is crucial for a restaurant to attract repeat customers. Ensuring that the quality and flavor of the dishes remain steady will encourage patrons to return regularly.
