I am from Vadodara. Visited chandan 3 weeks ago. About food: We were expecting the egg dishes here to taste as good as we usually have in Vadodara. but unfortunately, they were quite bland. We ordered 2 to 3 dishes, but all of them lacked proper seasoning — neither salty nor spicy enough, and overall the taste was disappointing. Service and atmosphere is quite good. If you’re an egg lover and happen to be in Surat, Chandan Omelette Center is an absolute gem that you must visit. Located near St. Thomas School in Vesu, this place is famous for its innovative and flavorful egg dishes, served fresh and full of spice. The menu is extensive, offering more than 50 varieties of egg-based items — from creamy gravies to spicy fries, omelettes, bhurjis, and even egg-based pizzas and burgers. Their signature items like the Lahori Omelette, Australian Fry, and 007 Sabzi are not just unique in name, but truly stand out in taste and presentation. The dishes are well-portioned, rich in flavor, and layered with cheese, butter, and spices that make each bite memorable. The ambience is clean and casual, ideal for friends and family outings. The staff is polite, attentive, and ensures that food is served hot and hygienically. The waiting time is usually short, even during rush hours. One of the best things here is the value for money. You get generous portions at affordable prices, typically spending around ₹300–₹400 for two people. Whether you’re a hardcore egg fan or someone who enjoys street-style Indian fusion food, there’s something for every palate. I especially recommend trying their Lasan Fry and Akuri, along with a chilled soft drink or buttermilk to balance the heat of the spices. This place is truly a celebration of eggs and creativity. It’s no surprise that it has become one of Surat’s most talked-about food joints. Don’t miss this spot if you’re in town — your taste buds will thank you!
