Extremely disappointed. Overpriced and way too salty. The food here was a massive letdown. We ordered the fried rice and butter chicken, and everything tasted awful. Both dishes were incredibly oversalted to the point of being barely edible. The fried rice had massive chunks of egg in it that were pure salt, and the chicken in the curry was just as bad. Definitely not worth the price. Would not recommend Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure

I recently visited Chaappi Restaurant, located between Chenkottukonam and Anandeswaram, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I tried their Quarter Shawarma (₹135), and it was a major letdown. The shawarma was extremely hard, making it difficult to eat. The khubz (flatbread) was not properly prepared, affecting the overall taste. Additionally, the quarter shawaya leg piece was disappointingly small, making the portion feel inadequate for the price paid. There was absolutely no value for money considering the quantity and quality of the food. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a good shawarma experience. Definitely not worth the price!
