1/5 – A disgusting SCAM disguised as a restaurant! DO NOT VISIT — THIS PLACE IS A PUBLIC HEALTH HAZARD! I visited Ceylon Bake House - Perumbavoor on 25 Jan 2026 with 5 families, expecting quality food because of the brand name. What we encountered was utter disgust from start to finish. TERRIBLE HYGIENE & ENVIRONMENT The basement dining area reeked of a foul, unbearable stench. We complained — and were moved upstairs — which was an unbearably hot, suffocating room with AC units that did NOTHING. Even after repeated requests, they only turned on one AC that couldn’t cool a hut, let alone a dining hall. ️ DISGUSTING TABLEWARE — UNACCEPTABLE We were served plates and glasses with visible food waste still stuck on them! This isn’t incompetence — this is gross negligence. Only after we complained did they replace them — and still with zero apology. FOOD THAT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL What they served was below even street-stall standards — bland, cheap, poorly prepared, low-quality food. One dish took over an hour to arrive. Other families inside were openly arguing with staff about old food being served — and stormed out! Judgment? Well deserved. BRAND DECEPTION They plaster the Ceylon Bake House/Ceylon brand everywhere — signs, uniforms — but the food and service are a joke. If this is what the brand has become, they should stop using it. PAYED THE BILL AND LEFT — NO REFUND, NO APOLOGY We didn’t even bother complaining further. We paid and left. I’m absolutely stunned this place continues operating. ⸻ OWNERS — TAKE NOTE: Shut this place down. Seriously. You are ruining a brand and potentially making people sick. Why are you running a restaurant if you can’t maintain basic hygiene, timely service, or edible food? Think about the purpose of your business before someone gets seriously harmed.
