The chef at this restaurant cooks good pesto pasta, fried cheese and kebabs. Most guests recommend trying perfectly cooked creamy tiramisu, creamy dessert and chocolate kebabs. Reasonable prices are something that should be noted about Canto Bar & Kitchen. You will certainly appreciate the quiet atmosphere and beautiful decor. Canto Bar & Kitchen is located inside the Godrej Compound Vikhroli and it is easy to find. The restaurant is spacious with a good sized bar and multiple seating options for all size of groups. The ambience is one of the best you will get as they have kept the overall feel very classy and modern. The lights and the half dome lights on the table look stunning. Every corner looks really elegant here. The colour schemes used is perfect and nothing seems odd. They specialise in multi cuisine hence the options available for food here ranges from various cuisines across the world. Dishes are available nicely for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Prices are not too high and the quantity served is excellent. I went here for a Thursday dinner and the restaurant had good number of people dining. The music played was great. Service from kitchen was on time and table service by staff Ketan was excellent as he was attentive, polite and he knew the menu well. What We Had - APPETISERS~ Edamame Truffle Dimsum - Perfect truffle oil aroma these dimsums were heavenly. Loved the creamy edamame mix and the outer cover was perfect too. Only thing missing was the chilli oil as I didn’t liked the dips provided with the dimsum. Crackling Spinach with Cottage Cheese - Fresh paneer tossed in hot garlic sauce served with fried spinach on the side tasted really good. Loved the garlic sauce as it wasn’t too pungent in taste and the spinach was nicely done. Eating both together was indeed a delight. Joojeh Kebab - Tender juicy boneless chicken marinated in light spices little sour and grilled to perfection tasted good. The flavours in this were decent as it was not made with Indian spices however the quality of the chicken was outstanding. MAINS~ Fresh Herbs Marinated Grilled Chicken - One of the best version of fusion done here. Grilled chicken topped with fiery thecha cheese sauce served with veggies and rice tasted brilliant. This was one of the best continental dish I have tried in a long time and I highly recommend it. The thecha cheese sauce is the star here along with the perfect juicy chicken. Truffled Mushroom Risotto - Nailed this dish as it was made the way it should. Rice done nicely with creamy sauce and again the truffle oil flavour was spot on. The earthy texture of the mushroom was present and overall it was a perfectly made risotto. DESSERT~ Tiramisu - Made in house this dessert was excellent. Bitter sweet and I am not a coffee person but still loved eating this till the last spoon. BEVERAGES~ Virgin Sangria. Creamy Mix Fruit. Both the drinks tasted really good. So our meal at Canto Bar & Kitchen was a perfect experience from start to end and I loved everything about this restaurant. Hence highly recommended and a must visit.
