Vasanth has been recommending food and beverages that have hit the right spot. It has been a source of delight, stumbling onto Cafe Lovii and I am now tirelessly annoyingly attached to the place. Whether it’s been a drink to raise my spirits after a full morning of cycling through Benaulim to Varca beach, or answering my calls for a nice hot cup of masala chai that suits my particular preferences and taste, or if I’m craving some protein, I have always for the last three 3 visits, been leaving satisfied and refreshed with homely soul nourishing food and a warm welcoming host standing on guard, ready to answer hunger pangs. I have since the first visit been dropping hints of what i am craving, and then left it to Vasanth to devise and recommend. He understands and fills in the blanks. I am hard to please when it comes to chai, and the cafe does not disappoint! Excellent hummus with veggies, Divine masala chai, a hearty apple crumble made in jaggery followed the next day by a refreshing drink of lemon mint soda with that essential pinch of Kala namak to stir any tired traveller up and help them get back home!
