The Café Ladakh Inn on the ground floor of its mother concern, the Ladakh Inn, is a pretty, cozy property, with a wide glass front, wooden floor and wainscot, topped by an especially pretty, carved, wooden ceiling. Unfortunately, it's location on the uninteresting Old Leh Road, means its rarely frequented. However, if you can brave the dull walk down from the more interesting Main Market, you may find the café all to yourself. Its good-value coffeees, cakes and cookies, and especially its specialty - dosas of various kinds - can easily hold your interest for an hour or two. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: Only vegetarian South Indian food - dosas, vada and uttapam. Dietary restrictions: Many of the dosas are made using vegetable oil, so the vegans have something to order here. The gluten-allergic can order the rawa doas, vada sambhar and uttapam, which are generally gluten-free.
