We had a good experience overall. When we visited, the restaurant wasn’t crowded—only about 3–4 tables were occupied—so the service was quite fast. We ordered masala dosa, vellayappam, and idiyappam. I didn’t particularly like the masala dosa, possibly due to my expectations from places like A2B and other traditional restaurants. However, the other food items and curries were tasty, and even the snacks were fresh and delicious. We stopped at Chettai's Family Restaurant in Hunsur on our way to Coorg for breakfast. The food was really good — we had poori, dosai and idly, all freshly made and tasty. The coffee was good, but the black tea we ordered was a complete no-no. The seating area is quite big and comfortable, and the washroom area is clean, which is great for travellers. The service was a bit slow though. Overall, a decent stop for a satisfying South Indian breakfast on the highway. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
