Yesterday at Café Coffee Day – Ground Floor, near JIPMER University (Pattanur), two staff members behaved rudely and unprofessionally, indirectly asking us to vacate despite no disturbance, low crowd, and a good order value. We were told a made-up “at least one order per hour to stay inside cafe” rule, denied use of the CCD app and Bean credits, not allowed to pay by card, and no bill was issued despite payment. All these point towards probably a fake franchise. This experience was unacceptable and far below CCD standards. Management response and corrective action are expected.
