CCD does not need a fresh review. This one on NH45 at the entrance of Pondy offers the same upbeat ambience, pricey-but-worth-it menu and friendly service. Price per person: ₹600–800 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Cappuccino or Latte Coffee Frappe and Cheeseburger

Absolutely Terrible Experience at Cafe Coffee Day - JIPMER Date: 07.12.2024 Time: 02:20 PM This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any Cafe Coffee Day outlet. I ordered a Signature Coffee, a takeaway brownie, and a water bottle made from plants. When it was time to pay, I was shocked to be told that the only accepted payment method was through the CCD app. They refused to accept UPI payments, which is one of the most basic and widely used payment methods in India. Forcing customers to download an app just to pay is ridiculous, outdated, and outright disrespectful of people’s time and convenience. This level of customer service is pathetic, and it reflects poorly on the brand. Why should I, as a paying customer, jump through unnecessary hoops to give you my money? Cafe Coffee Day, get your act together and stop alienating your customers with such backward policies. I’m extremely disappointed and will think twice before visiting any CCD outlet again.
