Desperately sought refuge in Cafe Bhonsle’s fancy ‘AC section’ at 2pm the other day to dodge Goa’s hellish heat. Joke’s on me - only ONE sad AC out of the bunch was even pretending to work. The rest were basically expensive wall art. Meanwhile, the peasants in the non-AC zone were chilling under ceiling fans blasting at full throttle over every table. Pay premium for a sweaty sauna experience? Hard pass. Service was prompt, food was aggressively average. Next visit: straight to the fan section like a smart person. If you enjoy ironic overpaying for fake cooling, this heritage spot delivers peak disappointment. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
