Visited Cafe Amin recently, and honestly, the food was below average. We had ordered paya curry, which they first said wasn’t available, but then mentioned that only the egg paya was available. I was okay with that, but what really disappointed me was that they seemed to have added water to the curry, making it extremely thin and almost unbearable to eat. I could’ve adjusted to the missing paya pieces, but at least the curry’s thickness should’ve been maintained. We also ordered chicken ceylon parotta, and chicken fried rice which was actually quite good, and grill chicken, which was just average. Had a lemon tea while waiting for the order — it was okay. Overall, not a great experience, especially because of the paya curry.
