Tried broccoli in a different and in an innovative style???? Visit Hotel Regency and try out their different variations and innovations with food... From North Indian to Continental, From Thai to Chinese.... Everything is so tempting ?

__BROCCOLI TEMPURA__

Made with chunky bite sized pieces of broccoli dipped in a Japanese Tempura batter and deep fried to perfection. It is seasoned with Sichuan Peppercorns and served along side Sriracha Sauce.
The broccoli inside was going well with the seasoning and was soft inside that it melts everytime I had a bite of it.

__TANDOORI CHICKEN LOLLIPOP__

Chicken wings marinated in a rich and spicy tandoori mix, finished in a clay oven to get an added smoky flavour. Served alongside fresh tangy salad and some mint chutney.... I really like the juiciness and softness of the chicken fully cooked from inside and the spice and marination of the outer chicken was the heaven ???... Must try and must visit place for such deliciousness

Cafe 1866 is cafe of Heritage Hotel Allahabad Regency..Been situated at heart of the city , the property is huge and beautuful.The thing that attracted me the most is the greenery that adds star to the beauty of this place..The architecture of the place is kept the same as it was during 1860s with the modifications done inside from time to time..It has a cafe , bar , banquet hall , swimming pool area, etc. in addition to the hotel rooms..I went here for dining in their cafe and few dishes that I liked and would recommend you guys to give it a try are:
● mutton rogan josh : made in authentic style with well cooked mutton pieces and various Indian spices , this one is a must try for all non-veg lovers ..I really liked it.
●grilled fish in lemon butter sauce : it was nicely grilled and had a nice flavour infused in it ..
●sabudana popcorn with khecha : a good option in vegetarian starter ..Fried balls made of sabudana and served with mildly spiced thecha..
●Beetroot tikki chat: they replaced aloo tikkis with healthy beetroot tikkis without compromising the taste ..
●galouti kebabs : they were soft and good in taste
●pesto pasta : basil sauce based pasta preparation, was served in good portion.
I still felt that few of the dishes like kung pao cottage cheese ,pad thai noodles , thai chilli chicken and darsan in desert can be improved a bit as the place is quite old and has set the bar of expectations high for the city people..
Staff is rude and ignorant..

fine dinning place with family as well as with friends.one will enjoy the ambience aswell as the food served here.one of my recommendation to the restaurant wuld be to increase the items in the menu
