Yesterday, while traveling by train from Mangalore to Varkala, we tried ordering food through Zomato and Swiggy, but none could deliver to our station via IRCTC e-catering. Just when we thought we’d have to settle for packed snacks, The Burger Lounge – South Beach Restaurant in Calicut came to the rescue! Despite the logistics, they delivered our order right on time—and it was worth every bite. Their burgers were made with top-quality ingredients, and the taste was absolutely delightful. My whole family loved it! A big thank you to The Burger Lounge team—you truly saved our day. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through Calicut. Trust me, it’s a must-try! Visited Burger Lounge recently and was pleasantly surprised! The place may look small and simple from the outside, but the food speaks for itself. I ordered the Zinger Burger and Peri Peri fries, and both were really tasty. The burger was crispy, fresh, and full of flavor — exactly what you expect from a good burger joint. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. They also have fresh juices, which I didn’t expect from a burger place but was a nice touch. Prices are affordable, and the quality of food is definitely worth it. The only downside is that the seating area is limited, so it might not be ideal for large groups. But for a quick bite near the beach, it’s perfect. Overall: Great taste, quick service, and value for money. Would definitely go again! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
