I always make it a point to eat here whenever I come to Mahabalipuram. It‘s a cozy place with great vibes and even greater food. You can choose from a selection of live seafood and decide on a preparation. The host is very friendly and gives you input on what preparation works with your choice. This time we had tawa fish, butter garlic jumbo prawns and fried calamari with plain rice as well as butter garlic rice. The food was lip-smacking like the other times I have visited. During my time in Mahabalipuram I visited Buddha Cafe twice, once for dinner and once for lunch and both of them.
