Brothers Amritsari Dhaba is a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic meal in Amritsar. I have previously visited Bharawan Da Dhaba and Kesar Da Dhaba, both of which are well-known for their dal makhni and claim it’s slow-cooked for 12 hours. However, I personally found the dal makhni at Brothers Dhaba to be richer in flavor and more satisfying compared to the others. It had a perfect creamy texture and balanced spices that truly stood out. Their kulcha was decent but not extraordinary, while the special lachha parantha thali and chai were both excellent. The chole, in particular, were full of flavor and had that authentic Amritsari touch that’s hard to find elsewhere. The food overall tasted fresh and comforting, giving the real essence of Punjabi cuisine. The only drawback I noticed was the cleanliness — the place could be maintained better in terms of hygiene. However, considering the quality and taste of the food, it easily makes up for that shortcoming. Overall, Brothers Amritsari Dhaba offers a genuine, flavorful dining experience with rich Punjabi dishes. I would definitely recommend visiting it if you want to enjoy a delicious, authentic meal in Amritsar.
