I went to this new social media sensation Bongry situated in Bosepukur close to Bosepukur Sitala Mandir. Normally, I do not pertain to or abide by social media hype and visit places as I am part of the food fraternity for 3 generations and have been exploring Kolkata and elsewhere long before social media existed. I am happy to share this is a rare place that lives up to the hype and being viral. The behaviour of the owners is very cordial and polite. The food is top notch. I had the fish torpedo which is priced at Rs. 160. It had cheese melting, fresh bhetki and a prawns filling made wrapped in panko coating.
