Well I'm quite surprised with the number of options in navi mumbai right from cafes, bistros to authentic Indian restaurants. I was craving Bengali food for a very long time so my friend took me here . We both ordered the thali it served a potato gravy, chicken, fish, dal, a mango reduction , kheer, luchi( it's like batore) and rice . The food tasted good, the quantity is sufficient for one. The potato , chicken and fish tasted more or less the same but in all a nice place to dig into some good bong food. The prices are apt and the ambiance is average .

The place is SMALL !!

I'd say it is very small, but that really isn't the only win deciding factor of a place.

Not really much when it comes to decorum. Very blank and bland.

The staff were not really engaging neither really rude. They did respond in a well manner but didn't go over the top.

Other than that, the food was really good. Had some authentic Kolkata style biryani after a long time. Food was really really good.

But the beef with this place is its TOO small.

Wanna have all the recipes of Kolkata in Mumbai without a miss visit Bong adda.. Bengali food lovers will surely fall in love with this small outlet at vashi. Must try the biriyani and luchi kashar mangsho... Expensive... Yet a heartthrob for the Bengalis staying in Mumbai...
