We took a chance and went for lunch to Bombay Coffee Bean at Patnitop.I was expecting something ordinary but the place looked inviting from outside-open air sit out, a smartly laid out air-conditioned restaurant inside and a wide variety of items from various cuisines.
We were a foursome - all elderly and fussy about cleanliness, decent rockery, smartly turned out waiters besides fresh food served well.
Our order was not very exciting but between us we had dosa, uttapam, malai broccoli and mushrooms, icecream and coffee. The overall experience including the ambience, service,food and speed deserves a 4+ rating. If one takes into account the remoteness of Patnitop, I would give it 4.5.
That's also because everything else was either too far away or a roadside dhaba!

As a coffee enthusiast from Amritsar visiting Patnitop, I was on the lookout for a great place to enjoy a cappuccino after my journey from Pathankot. To my surprise, there were very few options available, with none featuring cappuccinos—until I discovered Bombay Coffee Beans. This charming cafe, likely the only one in the area, offered a delightful cappuccino that had the familiar nutty flavor I enjoy. While the pricing is slightly higher than what you might find at Starbucks, the cozy ambiance makes it a worthwhile stop. I highly recommend visiting this cafe, especially if you're looking for a peaceful spot to relax with your favorite book. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
