Pathetic service. We were kept waiting for over 45 minutes and then told they don't have chicken to prepare the dish we had ordered (which by the way is one of their most popular and recommended dishes). The waiter was most happy when we said we're leaving. Not even a hint of an apology! The bill for our drinks mentioned a complimentary welcome poppadum, which was never served to us during our long wait. All in all, one of the worst experiences one can have on a dinner date.

After reading rave reviews, we really wanted to review Birdie Num Num. So on a Sunday evening we went here for dinner where in the whole place was to ourselves meaning that the place was empty.
We still didn't bother as Sunday's people generally dont really go out for dinner.

We started with cocktails for which the place is famous for. We tried liquid bread, the nest,
The drinks were decent but nothing sort of extraordinary.
Among the starters- Paneer was really good but
Momos and Dahi toast were very average.

We ordered mostly coastal in the main course, which again wasn't upto our expectations. The spices used in the coastal food didn't go well with our palate. We ordered for Chettinad Chole, Biryani and Paneer.

The dessert was sweet appam. This was again way too average.
