DO NOT COME HERE. We were absolutely appalled by our experience at Bike & Barrel. I ordered the cardamom sour which CLEARLY states that it contains aquafaba. When the drink arrived, I thought it smelled really off - like sulphur - but put it down to the various spices that had been sprinkled on top and didn’t want to make a fuss. The more I drank, the more nauseous I felt. So I asked the bartender what was inside and she casually told me she had used an egg. Not only was it a ROTTEN egg, but I am vegan. Instead of apologising, we were made to pay for the liquor consumed because I hadn’t complained soon enough. I also highlighted that my dietary requirements are one thing, but had it been an allergy the situation would have been far worse. They responded by telling me it was my responsibility to inform them beforehand. They never once asked. Beyond disappointed.
