Idly was soft and served piping hot paired with the red chutney. Chutney is the king. A little spicy, but not too much. A small food.joint inside Doddaballapura which is famous among localities. A pretty simple restaurant serving a very limited menu. They serve Idly, vada, Chitranna or rice bath. Idly was soft and served piping hot paired with the red chutney. Chutney is the king. A little spicy, but not too much. And it tastes very good with Idly or Chitranna. Chitranna (lemon rice) was good. Not too lemony, not spicy, balanced. Paired again with the red chutney. Hygiene is one hing which you need to ignore. But over all hygiene is decent. They serve Chitranna in hand. There is no hand wash with tap or liquid soap. But a glass and a tub filled with water. Service is fast. The food items get over quickly. So be there at the earliest. Almost everything was over by 10AM. We didn't get Vada. Chitranna got over. 3 thatte idly, 3 half plate Chitranna costed 150rs. It was sufficient to fill our tummies. Worth the visit. We recently visited Bhadranna Tiffenies in Dodballapur and were pleasantly surprised by the authentic flavors. We started with their famous Idly paired with Kempu (Red) Chutney. The idly was soft and was like homemade, but the real star was the chutney, which was perfectly spicy and incredibly flavorful. Next, we tried the Pulav, which was elevated by the same chutney, making it a satisfying dish. However, the highlight of our meal was the special Herlikai Chitranna. It had just the right balance of tanginess and spiciness, making it a true standout. Without a doubt, it's one of the best Herlikai Chitranna dishes you could have in hotel. Highly recommended!
