This restaurant is at roof top, so it could be hot sitting and waiting for food here. It is always crowded place and serves asian food. My favourite out of these is the Thai curry. It is a must must have was the best thing i had here. I also tried Yaki Udon, it’s a Japanese noodles, if you are trying Japanese dish for the first time, don’t try this. I didn’t like the dish, tasted weird. 3rd is Chicken Yakitori, it’s Japanese too bht it was nice and tasty, liked it too. Not so fancy restaurant, very simple

It was our last night at pondicherry and we thought of going to a fine dining restaurant..what better than Bay of Buddha - The Promenade...located on the roof top of the Promenade hotel,. the entire thing was earlier called The Lighthouse. Recently they have revamped the roof top restaurant and named it Bay of Buddha...

Ambience: Its the ultimate romantic destination...candle lights flickering through the night...the breathtaking view of the sea waves crashing against the shore from the roof top and the full moon!! wow.

We ordered for a french martini and some whiskey( Mr fiance, now husband) and along with that we ordered Grilled Squid Tuk Meric....i felt the squid was a tad bit overcooked hence was a little rubbery but the seasoning was to the tee.

For mains, we ordered the grilled beef rendang, phad thai noodles with prawns and egg. The beef pieces were succulent and retained its flavor and the noodles were yum too.

If your in Pondy...u must must drop in...its totally worth the buck
