As a visitor from Australia, I found this to be the perfect spot to enjoy drinks and lunch with friends. The food was unique and absolutely delicious, the service was excellent and super friendly, and best of all—the ambiance and vibe were just fantastic. I was told the Saturday night parties here are amazing, so on my next visit to India I’ll definitely be coming back to experience that. Highly recommend everyone to visit at least once! Visited Bastian recently and it absolutely lives up to the hype. The place has a luxe yet relaxed vibe—perfect for an indulgent dinner. The interiors are chic, with a touch of glam, and the staff is warm. Cocktails were well crafted and strong, with good variety for both classic lovers and experimental drinkers. On the downside, it’s on the pricier side, and you’ll likely need a reservation. But for the overall experience, it’s worth it. Had a wonderful experience at Bastian - At the top.For everyone contemplating whether or not to visit based on the other reviews - please do, and enjoy the food, ambience and vibe at Bastian.Before visiting though, make sure you have a reservation. Plan in advance and call the restaurant at least 7-10 days in advance. The reservation team will suggest a timing based on availability and share the payment details. They charge a cover of Rs. 2,000 per head, which is the minimum spend and will be adjusted in your final bill. Confirm your payment within 24 hours of your receiving the payment details, and your reservation will be confirmed. The restaurant will hold your table up to 20 minutes from your confirmed timing.Now, for the actual review -Ambience - Easily the most beautiful restaurant I’ve visited. Covers a huge area on the 48th floor with a magnificent view of Mahim Bay and surrounding skyscrapers. Would suggest visiting with a group, as most of the tables at the edge (with the view) are 6-8 seaters. Music was not too loud.Food - I’m probably not the right person to review the food here, as I am vegetarian. We tried the truffle fries (yum!), tofu bao, Mongolian noodles and the s’mores cookie cheesecake. The bao was just too good (had soy, gunpowder and a chunk of tofu in a soft bao). Mongolian noodles were spicy. Portion size is large, so order as per capacity.The s’mores cheesecake was light and delicious.Service - professional and polite staff who know their menu. They suggested the combination of Prosecco and fruit puree for the bellini. They ensure to ask about our allergies with every order.Overall, a wonderful dining experience.Do visit!
