Had a team lunch here. The place is pocket-friendly with lots of veg and non-veg variety. I felt table service was slow, they dont turn up quickly if we ask for something. Overall it was good experience staff was polite and supporting. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹600–800 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I have been visiting Barbeque nation every year since they opened their first branch in Bandra. It has always been my favourite restaurant in Mumbai. Today when we were having a team dinner, our first choice was Barbeque Nation in Noida. A team member did the booking and we went ahead. Food was fantastic as usual. However, the service is beyond shocking. Here are some pointers 1) I asked for a Virgin Mary to which the waiter responded “with or without alcohol”. I was a bit surprised by the question but asked him to get it without alcohol. Then he said “you will get it with fresh tomato juice”. I was tempted to cancel my drink as I did not understand what was going on. When the drink finally arrived, they had laced it with Sugar Syrup!! I sent the drink back 2) I was sat in the middle and the shabby waiters just kept serving to the sides and going away. I actually had to ask to be served food! 3) They overlaid the meat starters on top of the vegetarian starters which is offensive to me as a vegetarian. I was ok with them being next to each other but not on top of each other. 4) while clearing the plates, one waiter literally asked me to move out of the way with his fingers 5) The final straw arrived with the bill. First of all the bill had minor errors which we got corrected. Then the bill had the name of the colleague who made the booking. However, since I was paying and claiming, I asked for the bill to be in my name. This request was flatly refused and I was told the name cannot be changed. After arguing for a while he asked me to come the next day to collect a handwritten bill. I refused and said I need the bill in my name or with no name. Additionally they got us two bills instead of a single bill and that too in two names. I called the call centre to complain and they said there is no complaint number. I can fill out an online form and have to pay the bill in my colleague’s name. I refused to pay. Finally, the manager agreed that after I pay he would whatsapp me a bill without any name. All this took about 45 minutes and what was to be a fond team bonding memory became an upsetting experience for the team.
