We had dinner and drinks here, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. • Found a piece of chicken bone (haddi) in the veg dal tadka rice, which was completely unacceptable. • The hara bhara kabab was over-fried and burnt. • A cockroach was roaming on our table, showing very poor hygiene standards. • The waiter was unprofessional and lacked basic manners or etiquettes while serving and interacting. • The tomato soup listed as “Cream of Tomato” on the menu was served as a thin, tangy soup, nothing like what was mentioned. For the pricing and setup, we expected at least decent food and service quality, but this was a very unpleasant experience. Definitely not recommended until they seriously improve hygiene and staff behavior. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Experience was very average. Not that good nor bad. We visited on a rainy evening (Sunday night) but still found a table with no wait. We had ordered the mutton shorba which was actually good. Didn’t expect to be that good. The speciality of the appetisers might be the chicken tangdi kebab. It was charred on the outside and soft on the inside. The taste was nice. Need dosa and fish curry was also nice. The only disappointment of food was the French fries. They weren’t fresh; were frozen foods. Would not recommend to try them. The virgin mojito was good but the quantity was very less. It finished under 8-10 sips. The service was too slow despite there was not Ben a lot of crowd. By the way the atmosphere was good. Overall the dinner was average and visiting this restaurant is alright for a change. —————————————————————— Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

“Bamboo House – Great Taste, But Slow Service ” Today I visited Bamboo House, one of the old and well-known restaurants in the area. The moment you step in, the bamboo-themed décor and spacious outdoor seating give a relaxing, earthy vibe — perfect for a chill evening with friends or colleagues. Coming to the food — I personally enjoyed the taste, especially the South Indian options like Appam and the Mangalorian Non-Veg Combo — both were really flavorful and worth trying. The only thing that takes away from the experience is the slow service. Orders take quite some time to reach the table, and you can feel that they are a bit short-staffed during rush hours. But the staff is polite, and the ambience makes up for the delay to some extent. Prices are on the moderate side considering the vibe and portion sizes, and there’s ample parking space, which is always a plus. Overall, Bamboo House is a good spot for non-veg and South Indian food lovers, especially if you’re not in a hurry. The place still carries its charm — great food, soothing setup, but needs a little push on service speed.
