Babu Vada pav is essentially a takeaway snack joint on the street; they have been operating in that location for decades. They transformed from a street food vendor on a wheeled cart to a takeaway snack joint. There is no seating available so basically you can order a TAKEAWAY or have it on a disposable plate. It's one of the "go-to" places for snacks in a 10 kilometre radius; Quality & is taste is a function of who's making the vada pav batter or batata bhaji ; salt / green chilli/ garlic proportions vary from time to time. Likewise perception of service can also vary depending on who's on the service side of the counter or the type of crowd at peak hours In addition to their Vada Pav, Patti Samosa and Kothimbir Vadi are also to be savoured once. Sabudana vada is also good going by reviews of many esteemed local guides The type of snacks served uses copious amounts of garlic without which vada cannot get its taste; so if you are finicky about not having garlic for whatever reasons you may have to think twice before consuming One of their dry chutneys also contains dry coconut and peanut in addition to garlic ; if you have allergies be aware of them before consuming Parking is available on alternate sides of the streets on odd days and even days , but the proximity to street corners and bus stops make it a challenging task ; during off peak hours parking is available but the snacks may not be piping hot at that time. There is also a school nearby so it can be chaotic during school rush hours or in the evening between 1730 - 1930 due to peak station going traffic They do not sell any beverages but there is a sugarcane juice stall, tea stall nearby and several stores where one can buy bottled water or cold beverages. Summarily definitely a decent place to have a small snack and if you are a regular you'd know when to visit them Service: Takeaway Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian Vegetarian options: They use garlic in their preparations and sides / chutneys People avoid if your religion advises you to not to consume garlic The dry red chutney might have dry coconut and peanut as well in addition garlic; if you have peanut allergies you must take note Dietary restrictions: They use garlic in their preparations and sides / chutneys People avoid if your religion advises you to not to consume garlic The dry red chutney might have dry coconut and peanut as well in addition garlic; if you have peanut allergies you must take note

Babu Vada Pav is quite an iconic vada pav shop. IMO, they fall second after Aram in Fort and Gajanan in Thane. There’s a sugarcane juice shop right beside Babu and they complement each other well. No frills, authentic vada pav. Parking though, could be an issue, but you can park in front of the shop if it’s just for some time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
