I enjoy local food whenever I travel, so I went breakfast hunting at Arpora, found Avit's kitchen on the main road and was thrilled to bits when I saw their menu simple Goan breakfast exactly what I was looking for, day 1 tried the pathal bhaji and pav, day 2 tried the poi with mix bhaji ( sukke and pathal) with hot piping chai. The place is very basic but super clean, Avit told me that the gravies are made by his mother at their home kitchen and always made fresh in batches as and when required. Spoke to his father who is a retired employee of kadamba transport, so it's he who started this restaurant first after retirement and now Avit his son takes the lead and he is doing a fabulous job.
