I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding an unfortunate experience I had at Aswin's Sweets, located at the Ramakrishna Road branch. On 13th January 2025, at approximately 9:46 PM, I visited the store and purchased sweets and snacks while on my way to our native place for the Pongal celebration. Among the items I purchased was a sweet called "Jum Jum" (HSN code 210690), which I stored in the refrigerator. However, when we opened the box the following day, we were immediately struck by a strong rotten smell. Upon tasting the sweet, it was evident that it had completely spoiled. Before making the purchase, I specifically asked the saleswoman if the sweet was fresh, to which she confirmed it was. Based on her assurance, I decided to buy the product, but I was thoroughly disappointed when I discovered it was unfit for consumption. I would like to request that you investigate this matter and take appropriate action. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
