Having heard quite often about Bamboo Chicken being the speciality of maredumilli we decided to try it when we spotted this place while exploring the local market. Rs500 for a kilo was good enough quantity for 4-5 people. And they claim they don't use any water or oil for cooking, but I found it to be just plain hype when it came to the flavour. Trying it once for sake of trying is good enough in my opinion. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

People mostly order only bamboo biryani or bamboo chicken here, one of the places that people prefer here in this locality which anyways has limited food outlets. This is a very small outlet with probably tables for 35-40people at a time. Do not expect a fine dining restaurant ambience. This is one of those small town hotels for feed, with a general room ambience with tables and chairs. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I went to Maredumilli with my mother and father. We bought a parcel of bamboo chicken biryani at Aranya Restaurant, He gave it wrapped in paper with bamboo. When we went to the place and opened the parcel, there was only biryani. Be careful friends, don't get cheated by buying from him.
