Visited Appam Cafe and tried their dosa and vada. Unfortunately, the food was quite average. The dosa batter did not feel very fresh, and the overall taste was very ordinary. The chutney was not fresh, and the sambar was very bland and lacked proper flavor—it just didn’t have that authentic sambar taste. The vada was also average and forgettable. The café does have a nice vibe and ambience, which raises expectations, but the taste seriously needs improvement. The only genuinely good part of the experience was the service, which was prompt and polite. Overall, disappointing food despite a good setup.
