Aami Bangali Silchar, situated on Sonai Road, offers a taste of authentic Bengali cuisine in the heart of the city. Known for its diverse menu, the restaurant provides a variety of traditional dishes, ranging from dal bhat to vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialties like mangsho and elish mach, catering to the tastes of Bengali food enthusiasts. Despite being on the first floor above Bina TVS, it's a popular spot that seems to attract visitors who appreciate the quality and variety available.
With flexible dining options, Aami Bangali caters to different preferences through dine-in, takeaway, and delivery services, making it accessible whether you're in the mood for an intimate meal or a quick bite. It serves lunch and dinner, fitting within the operating hours of 00:00-16:00 and 19:00-22:00 every day. The ambiance is casual, suitable for groups and families, ensuring it's a welcoming place for everyone.
Parking-wise, patrons might need to rely on street options, as car parking facilities are noted to be absent. The restaurant strikes a moderate price level, offering decent value without stretching the wallet too thin. While recent updates from the owner about any new changes or special offerings are lacking, what remains constant is its reputation for good quality food and the promise of traditional flavors for those interested in Bengali cuisine.
Aami Bangali is an authentic Bengali cuisine restaurant originally from Kolkata with around 20+ franchise outlets in India. And Aami Bangali Silchar is the first franchise to open in Assam. The restaurant is located in sonai road, Silchar just beside Rangirkhari Police outpost above Bina Tvs showroom. The restaurant is fully air-conditioned with sofa tables. The food is also good with an authentic Bengali taste of Kolkata. My favourite dish there is Murger Pulaou. Do try it once you go there.
