Amantran corner was one of my first and fondest memories of Matheran. I was on a one night two day stay here and their food was THE BEST that we have ever tested. If you ever visit you must try their chicken and mutton special thalis and even their chinese and breakfast dishes were super amazing. The staff including kaku who cooked our dishes with her very own hands, uncle, the old uncle who took care of us and their very own pet dog chiku made us feel like home and a warm hug in the cold weather of matheran. Their patio outside the rooms is incredible at night with their own gardening done. The rooms could use a bit of maintaining but they are very accomodative and couple friendly. Beautiful and like a warm hug. Loved them.
