Slow service but ambience is good too many stairs to reach the restaurant. Non veg food is great. Veg is bad Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

This seemed to be the only hotel which was serving alcohol in joshimath so we thought we would visit to have a whiskey with our food but sadly their bar opens only post 3pm so that was a bit disappointing of an entrance but we decided to eat here anyway. The ambience was a bit tacky with plastic hung around the place and my friend who had visited the resort 5years ago says that the renovations have made the place look uglier. The chilli paneer was really nice, we also had Kadai paneer and roti which was good. Slightly on the expensive side, but chalta hai... Alpenrose restaurant exceeded all my expectations! The decor was charming and cozy, with wooden accents and soft lighting that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious - I tried the Swiss rosti and it was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The staff were also fantastic, providing excellent service throughout the meal. I highly recommend Alpenrose to anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience
