A hidden germ in Assagao, really you won't find a second place of this sort around , very quiet, cosy, rustic feeling, reasonably priced, delicious goan food, welcoming hosts. I recommend fish and prawns thali. Will definately come back again to try more dishes. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Alma has lovely tasty food. The place is located in interior Assagao and once your there it does not disappoint. The honey siracha wings are really yummy.The salted tongue goes well with a warm poiee. The homemade kombucha and iced tea was also refreshing. There are a lot of yummy bites ranging from pork,beef, chicken dishes etc. Thanks Jarryd for service you provided. We shall return again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Honest food is only way to put it, Terry does his best to put forth dishes that are a true reflection of his heritage. Food that does not pander to the masses but rather what someone would cook for family and friends. Things are kept simple and original, where detail is in the food and not in the crores that went into creating an ambience that tries to hide the lack for authenticity that is so prevalent at Assagao. If you are looking to eat local, don't cheat yourself out of this experience, this is a real friendly bunch that cares about what they are feeding you, if you are looking for bragging points on an Instagram post...go eat anywhere else. Will take Almas any day over Vinayak or Avos, its a small place so don't go dressed to the nines, go hungry....that's what I did, and then went ahead and took a blissful nap....if this is not Susegad then what is it? Sorry no pics...was too busy stuffing my face... Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
