Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended I recently ordered Veg Pulao and Gobi 65 from this restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. 1. Veg Pulao: What was served could barely be classified as Pulao. It appeared to be ordinary rice mixed with a few vegetables and turmeric—completely lacking in authenticity. To make matters worse, the rice used was not Basmati as advertised, but regular rice. It is concerning that the establishment lists Basmati Rice on the menu without actually using it, suggesting either a lack of knowledge or a deliberate attempt to mislead customers. 2. Gobi 65: This dish was equally disappointing, served without any salt. I had to season it myself just to make it edible, which is simply unacceptable in a professional dining setting. The service was appalling. The lady responsible for serving seemed entirely disinterested in her duties, engaging in casual conversation with another guy while neglecting the customers. I was not even provided a bill and had to wait 15 minutes before taking the initiative to approach the billing counter myself to place and pay for my order. Her indifferent and unprofessional behavior was extremely frustrating. The only redeeming quality of the place is its ambiance, which is pleasant and well-maintained. However, good atmosphere alone cannot compensate for substandard food and poor service. I strongly advise against dining at this restaurant. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Very bad experience. We ordered food, but they sent a different item. This is the third time they have messed up our order. Food quality is also poor. When we contacted them, they rudely said, "Why did you order? Come and get it directly." If we could go, why would we use Zomato or Swiggy? Not recommended at all. Food: 1 Service: 1

It's like Amma prepared a healthy, yummy meal. Normally I'm not satisfied with the sambar the restaurants serve. Alakar restaurant sambar and every other item doesn't trigger acid reflux and ulcers. RIGHT amount of spices are used. I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT.
