Restaurant is understaffed & underglassed. Even though the restaurant is empty but the place is understaff. So understaff that 1. It takes 15 mins to get the menu that also after 3-5 times of haggling. 2. Drinking glasses aren’t available, drink directly from the water or cold drink bottles. 3. Order taking was done after 30 mins. 4. Starters served after 45 mins of waiting, haryali kabab wasn’t available so had to go with tikki kabab. 5. On requesting normal temperature water bottle, it took 1hour 30 mins & 2 waiters to change the bottle. Btw the package drinking water bottles are filled with tap water, you can easily find that out if you drink the normal temperature bottled water. 5. The food was served after 1hr 15 mins, garlic naan got replaced by butter naan without any prior update, with a bit of burnt tandoori touch. Chicken pyaza tasted good & was substituted for afghani chicken. 6. Lot of chaotic n loud guest environment- with no control of the staff. 7. Drinks or mocktails not available as the bartender injured n cut his 2 fingers. Not sure if the bartender even existed. 8. Uncomfortable seating arrangements. The table chair/ sofa heights mismatch, the distance between the table & chair, makes it difficult to have a comfortable meal. 9. Food is average. 10. If tables aren’t clean, they will only be cleaned when the order is served. Not before that. Overall never again for me. Date of Visit: 02.10.2024 I had the worst dining experience at "Al Rehan" when I visited with my friend. From the start, the service was incredibly slow—the waiter didn’t take our order until 20 minutes after we arrived. While we were initially okay with that, things quickly went downhill with the food quality. We ordered crispy chilli baby corn and two plates of chicken biryani, and I was shocked by how bad it was. The biryani was drenched in oil, and you could literally taste the raw oil in every bite. The chicken was not only overcooked and hard, but also excessively salty. I felt nauseous after just a few bites. The chicken pieces were so salty that they were inedible. We complained to the waiter and asked for the dish to be replaced, but our complaint was completely ignored. It was clear that the restaurant has no understanding of customer satisfaction. To make matters worse, they still tried to charge us the full amount for the meal. After arguing with the staff at the cash counter, they reluctantly reduced only 50 rupees from the total bill. This is not how customers should be treated. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and I will not be returning. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place.
