If there was an option for ZERO stars, I’d give it. This branch of Ajantha Bakery is by far the worst experience I’ve had. I bought 4 items today (30 July) — and to my shock, most of them were stale and of terrible quality. They’re clearly selling stale and possibly expired food by relabelling it — and the worst part is, you can’t even reach them to complain. I tried calling the number provided on the bill multiple times, but no one answered. The jam bread, marked with an expiry date of 02 July, was hard and the jam inside had clearly gone bad — it smelt awful. The apple cake, which should’ve been soft and fresh, was rock-hard and obviously old stock. The badam milk was fine, and the bread packet we’re yet to open — but this experience has made me completely lose trust in this outlet. It seems like this branch is being used to push unsold, stale stock, and it’s totally unacceptable. Strongly advise against buying anything from this outlet — especially for your children. Please someone explain to the shopkeeper Bun butter jan should be soft not hard. When I asked him why it was hard. He replied so angrily and said the date shows more than two days to expire. It's fresh only. Might be I don't have a taste of bun butter jam earlier. Very arogant. Never gona buy any food to these arrogant shop owners who don't respect the customer.
