Right after seeing Revi Karunakaran Museum, come for a meal. Nothing can be better than tasting perfectly cooked fish curry, chicken curry and seafood. The staff is friendly that's what makes this restaurant so good. Guests say that the service is prompt here. When you enter this place, pay your attention to the enjoyable atmosphere. Been here twice, the food is really good, I have no complaints about the food. I liked pretty much everything I tried, so I wouldn't mention things specifically and reduce them to just those dishes. In fact, whatever you like to try, tell the service dude(the lean, bearded, service magnet - didn't ask for his name unfortunately) and ask him if that's good at his shop or should you try something else. I am positive he'll be honest with the response. Service is the best part of the experience cuz, I am not kidding; the last time I went here, the beef dishes were done but just cuz he saw the disappointment on my face, he actually rode to a different shop and got me beef in addition to all the food I ordered at his shop. It's been decades since I've seen that kind of service. Maybe it's a small town thing or maybe he just loves to give great service. Atmosphere, well it's a thattukada, which is a road side shop, so there's that. But for a shop of its kind, it's well lit, decorated, has great music from EDM to Malayalam, Thamizh, Bollywood, bangers at even 12 am. I consider that a great atmosphere , don't know about you. Achil Thattukada is a popular late evening food spot in Alappuzha. The Chicken 65 and Chilli Chicken were both really tasty - well cooked, spicy, and full of flavor. Portions were good for the price. The place has a casual, lively vibe and service was quick even though it was quite crowded. Seating is simple and it can get a bit noisy, but the food definitely makes up for it. A solid choice if you're looking for a flavorful and budget friendly meal.
