If you are a tourist in Konkan and want to eat something authentic then you must definitely try this place. All the thalis were great and our group of 12 was accommodated with great service. Rates are most affordable in Ratnagiri. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600

Inspite of being a coastal place with abundant fish, this place Ratnagiri appears to be equally stingy in serving food. One expects Ratnagiri hotels to serve fish at reasonable rates as fish is abundant here. But that is not the case. Every sea food hotel I visited here is not only costly, but also serve small portions of fish in their thalis. Also I noted once they serve the thali, they don’t come and ask u again if u need any more curry etc. Same case here. Although the food was good but fish portions were small. And strangely their fish thali, though not cheap, has only one roti. At least that is what I got. And extra roti I took was for rs 40. Too much for a small hotel. In places like Kolhapur and sangli, though not coastal places, the sea food hotels here serve bigger portions and generous extra food at no cost. Just looting everywhere. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
