The ambiance at Gomantak is good. However, the food, particularly the fish, didn’t meet expectations. I ordered the prawns tawa fry, thali with bhakri was not soft and while the presentation was average, the fish was dry, lacked freshness, and was underseasoned, leaving it bland. It is way costly than the market price. Though the sides and sauces were okay, they didn’t elevate the dish. For a hotel of this standard, I expected better quality seafood as it is near to costal area. Overall, the great ambiance was overshadowed by disappointing food as I came all the way from pune to eat. Disappointed a lot. What a beautiful restaurant and experience. Located at a very travel friendly spot. The food particular non vegetarian food is delicious and has many variety to offer. Must visit restaurant for travellers in Konkan! Restaurant Review Example The food was excellent!
