The kindest staff and service I have experienced in the whole of India! I chilled in the hotel here for the day whilst waiting for my sleeper bus and the staff were so accommodating. I ate at the restaurant and the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend

We had our dinner at this restaurant after reading some good reviews. The ambiance was very nice with the Jaisalmer Fort as the backdrop. The food however did not live up to the hype. The wood fired pizza had a hard base and felt that the base had been store bought rather than being made from scratch at the restaurant. The service was also slow as it took them more than 30 minutes to bring our pizza. The highly recommended chocolate mousse was more like a chocolate sauce consistency. From the price point I found the restaurant expensive for the quality of food delivered.

Felt like a 5-star stay, but with the warmth of home stayed in the week of December 25th We stayed at 1st Gate Home-Fusion, Jaisalmer and I genuinely don’t have enough good things to say. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel so looked after not in a “formal hotel” way, but in a truly caring, guest-first way. Small things, constant check-ins, always smiling, always ready to help it honestly felt like the kind of hospitality you remember long after the trip. The location is a big plus too ,you’re close to pretty much all the key attractions, so getting around is easy and you don’t waste time in travel. And then there’s the highlight: the rooftop restaurant. Wow. The fort views are absolutely magical, especially in the evening. Great vibe, great service, and the kind of setting where you just want to sit longer than planned and soak it all in. If you’re coming to Jaisalmer, this rooftop alone is worth experiencing. If you want a place that’s comfortable, classy, and run by people who genuinely care about guests — this is it. I’d happily come back again. Service: 5
