Relaxed authentic experience in Varanasi! 1916 is cozy, clean, fresh and welcoming. Live music is played over dinner time and food is prepared and and served with care. Garlic naan is a must. Best chicken curry in ages! 10/10 : We had the Chicken Noorjahani and Chicken Kadhai, and they were absolutely delicious! The flavors were incredible, and the dishes were cooked to perfection. A little pricey, but definitely worth it (1500 for 3, no starters). Only downside was the service was a bit slow, but I believe good food takes time. The ambience was great as well, with live music featuring flute and tabla jugalbandi. However, the projector screen could have been much clearer, as it appeared very dim.
