If you’re in hunt of delicious home style maharashtrian food then this is where you need to head to. So to give you an overview of how the place is and how they operate, here are few points that should help:
Place: It’s a food truck. Yeah! It is, indeed. It has very little seating arrangements for may be 3-4 people to sit and dine. Majority if their orders are take away and that’s where they have focused most while mapping their business plan.
Staff: So this food truck is managed by family of 4 true to heart Maharashtrians. The team is of two ladies who are the backbone of their team. Yes, they’re the one who cook the sumptuous food I’ve mentioned above. Then there are two gentlemen who manage the payments and packaging of the order and managing customers while taking their orders.
Food: Here comes the best part about this place. So I’ve been a very loyal customer to this joint since their inception and have tried more than 50% of the dishes offered on their menu spread. There are a lot of dishes that I’d include in this review but I’ll limit to my top favourites. You can try Chicken Rassa, Mutton Rassa, Bombil Rassa, Pompfret Rassa, Chicken Liver Masala Fry, Mutton Bheja Masala, Bombil Fry, Mandeli Fry, Chicken Sukka. The one thing you’ll definitely love from this joint are their Rice Bhakaris & Wheat Chapatis. I can bet there’s no restaurant in Mira Road that serves better Rice Bhakaris than Aai Ekveera Agri Katta. Their Bhakaris, if stored properly can survive pretty well even until the next day. The Bhakaris are really soft and tasty. The taste of all dishes are just so great that if you’re a person who hogs on to Maharashtrian cuisine every now and then, you’ll definitely be able to relate it with the sheer pleasure of eating home cooked food.
Conclusion: As i begun writing this post, I’ll rewrite here again “If you’re in hunt of delicious home style maharashtrian food then this is where you need to head to”.
